A Street play competition took place on 20 July 2023 at Pratibha School , Porvorim – Goa. It was organised by Anagha Vachasundhar Pratishthan, Parvari Goa. The organizers began the event with a welcome speech, after which, the judges were introduced. A total of 9 groups of participants took part in the competition.
The topics for the competition were as follows:
1. Junk food
2. Road safety
3. Social media.
The competition began at 3.00 pm, prior to which the rules and guidelines of the competition were announced and group leaders were asked to pick chits. All the groups performed according to the number they got.
All the groups put up their ideas in unique ways on the provided topics. All the performances ended by 6pm. Refreshments were given by the time judges prepared the result. The spokesperson appreciated each group for their performances, judges shared few tips for an effective street play as well.
Five winners were declared and group photos were taken to commemorate the day. This event acted as a catalyst, through which the students learnt new ideas, talents and most importantly the satisfaction of putting up their best effort.
