The pastoral theme for the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman for the year 2022 – 2023 was “Follow Me”. By keeping this theme in mind, the Diocese Catechetical Centre had organized the Musical play and Bible quiz competition on 27th July 2023, held at Old Goa.
Our D.El.Ed students from St. Joseph Vaz Institute of Education had taken part in both the competitions. The Bible quiz consisted of several qualifying rounds and our students took part with great enthusiasm and did their best.
The musical play presented by us, told the story of an Advocate and his professional life, who transformed himself after experiencing the Divine love of Christ and turns into a faithful and loyal Advocate. The whole play had a
flow of the story through different songs. The theme “Follow Me” was beautifully brought out through the enactment of following the footprints of Jesus. Our students won the first place for the musical play. The students were awarded a token bearing the theme “Follow Me” and a certificate. The competition came to end through a short fellowship meal.
