On July 26, 2024, a group of 42 teacher trainees from St. Joseph Vaz Institute of Education, accompanied by four faculty members, conducted a field visit to three notable educational sites in Panjim: the Krishnadas Shama State Central Library, the Goa State Museum, and the Goa Science Centre & Planetarium. This visit was part of their curriculum for the subjects of School Administration, Classroom Planning, and History. The group began by exploring the library’s extensive collection of over 300,000 books and its modern amenities. They then proceeded to the Goa State Museum, where they gained valuable insights into the region’s cultural history and its contributions to the freedom movement. The final destination was the Goa Science Centre & Planetarium, where the trainees learned about advancements in the field of science. The field trip, which concluded at 4:30 PM, provided the trainees with valuable academic knowledge, enhanced social interactions, and bolstered their confidence, successfully fulfilling the educational objectives of the visit.
