The St. Joseph Vaz Institute of Education, Cortalim, bid a fond farewell to the second-year D.EL.ED students on 12th April 2025. The day began with a Holy Mass celebrated at 10:30 a.m by Assistant Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Prinson Olivera and concluded at 11:30 a.m. Soon after, refreshments were served, setting the tone for the lively cultural programme organized by Ms. Rosebel Fernandes followed. The event was hosted with warmth and enthusiasm by Ms. Dollery and Ms. Samiya from FY D.EL.ED. The programme began with a welcome extended to the special guest, the faculty, and the outgoing students. The cultural segment featured a vibrant fusion dance, a melodious group song, and a Konkani solo performance. To keep the energy high, spot activities were conducted between the performances, adding a spark of fun and excitement. Ms. Chelsee, representing the SY batch, shared her reflections and cherished memories of her time at the institute. Tokens of appreciation were then presented to all
outgoing students as a parting gift from the institute.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Supriya Rao. A group photograph captured the memories of the day, followed by an informal interaction between teachers and students. The farewell ended on an emotional note with warm goodbyes, laughter, and gratitude shared among all.
