The department of physical education and sports of St Joseph Vaz Institute of Education in collaboration with department of physical education and sports of St Joseph Vaz college organised a National level photography competition on the theme ‘Gender Equality Today For A Sustainable Tomorrow’ on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
In total 36 entries were received from across the country highlighting gender equality in our society with some of them giving amazing captions and titles for their photographs.
The photographs were judged by 3 judges. The judges were Mr Pragat Naik, Mr Sheldon Rodrigues and Dr Rita Jyai. The criteria for judging were creativity, relevance to the topic, technical quality, relevance and originality of the title and overall impression. The photographs were given points out of 50 by each judge. The scores of the 3 judges were compiled to declare the winners.
